How to invite other Emory faculty members to use OpenEmory

OpenEmory derives its core objective from an abiding appreciation for sharing information with anyone seeking knowledge.  It stems from an intrinsic passion for the support of interdisciplinary scholarship, and the stimulation of discourse across various media platforms. To further enliven the spread of information through OpenEmory, users are provided several methods to further disseminate their works, including via email, permanent URL, facebook, and twitter.

Inviting by Email

To invite by email:

  1. Locate the article you wish to share via email
  2. Click the title of the article
  3. Click the "Share" button on the article page

Inviting by Permanent URL

To invite by permanent URL:

  1. Locate the article you wish to share via URL
  2. Click the title of the article
  3. Highlight and copy the "Permanent URL" hyperlink displayed under the article title

Inviting through Facebook

To invite through facebook:

  1. Locate the article you wish to share via facebook
  2. Click the title of the article
  3. Click the "Share" button on the article page and then select the "Facebook" button

Inviting through Twitter

To invite through twitter:

  1. Locate the article you wish to share via twitter
  2. Click the title of the article
  3. Click the "Share" button on the article page and then select "Twitter" button
  4. And remember to "Follow Us" on Twitter @EmoryLibsOA
