Abstract
  • This book chapter looks at the work accomplished by the Digital Preservation Network’s (DPN) Preservation Metadata Standards Working Group (PMSWG), including a best practices guide to digital preservation for DPN member institutions and the creation of a minimal “core” record designed to provide a baseline amount of metadata in order to facilitate recovery of data at a future date.
