Abstract

By the end of this chapter, readers will be able to: • define the concept of autotheory and describe how it functions in academic scholarship; • analyze the emergence and trajectory of LIS scholarship on peer observation of teaching; and • evaluate the benefits and drawbacks of peer observation as a form of instructor training.
