Abstract
  • Since the outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019, there have been reports of systemic inflammation and cardiac dysfunction with multiorgan involvement in pediatric patients, temporally associated with severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2.1, 2, 3 This entity has collectively been referred to as multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children (MIS-C).
